I loved it!! Your opinion is one I have also considered often as it seems/1 About Carlson's view of the concave/ convex Mts! Yes, You see, I often am in the mts, and have thought of his point of view, mostly a strong point, BUT NOT ALWAYS, and a painting can be beautiful as your's is, while using a concave "U" shape, and STILL LOOK MAJESTIC, STRONG AND RUGGED. Right? I do love when you express your thoughts. Keep it up.Ida M. Our current assignment is to interview an artist we admire. I was wondering if I could interview you? Just 4-5 questions, 15 minutes max? I was thinking I could use the interview in the AZ Pastel Artist Assoc newsletter as well.

I am an Arizona pastel artist and used to live in the Sierra's. I love your Sierra Nevada images!!

If you could do the interview you could contact me through my websitehttp://jeannewellins.fineartstudioonline.com

Thanks for considering my request.Jeanne Wellinsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4413012723295691207.post-47763392828183940782013-10-07T08:49:37.199-07:002013-10-07T08:49:37.199-07:00Hi Bill, congratulations on your show!! I so wish I could be there this Thursday when you talk about this strong (and large!) body of rich and dynamic work. I've seen many of these pieces on your blog over the last year, but enjoyed watching them flip by on the Gallery's website. There are some real beauties in there.

Good luck on Thursday--talk to you soon. Also saw your work at Total Arts in Taos. Lovely paintings! First became aware of your work when you were featured in an article in the July/August issue of Pastel Journal, same issue they featured my work. Good luck on your shows.
